What this service is

TohoToho generates informational reports about what is near a location in Japan, using open map data. It is free to use. It does not sell, book or hold rooms.

No warranty

Reports are produced automatically from third-party data that may be incomplete or out of date. They are provided as-is, with no guarantee of accuracy or fitness for any purpose. Do not use them as your only basis for a travel, safety or financial decision. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from use of this site.

Fair use

The service runs on volunteer-operated map infrastructure. Automated scraping, bulk querying or reselling generated reports is not permitted. Excessive requests may be refused.

Advertising and affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links, and we are paid a commission on bookings and purchases made through them. Those links are marked “Ad”. Any resulting contract is between you and that merchant; we are not a party to it, and price, availability, cancellation and payment are entirely on their terms. Commission does not affect any score or the order anything is listed in.
